What We Collect
You sign in with Google or GitHub, not a password — we get your email address and name from whichever you choose, and you pick a username. We never see or store a password for your account. We record when and which version of these Terms and this Policy you agreed to, and store the submissions, match results, Elo history, and cosmetic purchases you generate on the platform.
Payments
LogicLadder sells optional cosmetic items (badge skins, name colors, avatar borders, profile themes) through a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card or payment account details — the processor handles payment directly and gives us back a transaction ID and confirmation of payment. We keep a record of each purchase (item, price, date, transaction ID) tied to your account, and email you a receipt.
How We Use It
Your email is used only for purchase receipts and account-related notices — we don't use it for verification or password resets, since sign-in is handled entirely by Google or GitHub. Your username, match history, and equipped cosmetics are displayed publicly on leaderboards and battle feeds. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Cookies
We use a single HTTP-only authentication cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used. Theme and notification preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage and never sent to our servers.
Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party providers to run the Service — including Google and GitHub for sign-in. None of these are used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and each is subject to its own privacy policy.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained while your account is active. Purchase records are kept indefinitely as a financial and legal record, even if you later delete your account. You can otherwise permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time from Settings → Security → Delete Account.
